As a part of the construction activities surrounding the new Performing Arts Center and Hotel, Ball State University has agreed to partially close the westbound lane of West University Avenue between North McKinley Avenue and North Calvert Street. The eastbound lane of West University Avenue will remain open.
West University Avenue (westbound lane) road closure will begin May 4, 2025 and will remain closed until October 12, 2025.
Vehicles can access North McKinley Avenue via West North Street and West Riverside Avenue, in lieu of West University Avenue. Additional wayfinding signs will be added to assist with navigation around the West University Avenue partial closure. The current route to the McKinley Avenue Parking Garage will not be affected.
