Wednesday Wellness

June 10, 2025

June 14 is World Blood Donor Day.

World Blood Donor Day raises awareness of the need for safe blood and blood donations. Give blood, give hope: together we save lives. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood, so by donating, you have the power to help save lives every single day.

The Ball State Staff Council's Angels for Life Committee has been working with the Versiti Blood Center of Indiana since 2008 to hold blood drives on campus. These drives are typically held in September, November, January, March, and May. Learn how you can donate during the summer months by visiting the Versiti Blood Center.
