Love is one of 24 universal character strengths and is within the virtue category of humanity. It involves valuing and fostering close relationships with others especially those with whom sharing and caring is reciprocated. Love is one of the top five character strengths most associated with life satisfaction.
Use your Love strength for an act of kindness. “Perform an act of love by checking in with a colleague to show them they are respected, valued, and appreciated. You might thank them for something, make them a cup of coffee, or just have a conversation with them about how they are doing.”
VIA character strengths are a family of positive personality traits reflected in our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. They are basic building blocks of a flourishing life and serve as pathways to PERMA wellbeing.
