June 22, 2020

Bravery is one of 24 universal character strengths and in the virtue category of courage. It involves facing your fears, confronting adversity, and acting on convictions even if they are unpopular. Bravery helps build resilience as challenges are overcome.

Use your bravery for an act of kindness. “Challenge a person in an appropriate, balanced way about a wrong you are seeing perpetrated in your community.”

VIA character strengths are a family of positive personality traits reflected in our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. They are basic building blocks of a flourishing life and serve as pathways to PERMA wellbeing.
