As a reminder, Ball State has a Driving Privileges Policy that applies to faculty, staff, and students. This policy outlines the approval process required to drive a University owned, rented, or leased vehicle or a personally owned vehicle while on University business.
The latest iteration of the policy sets forth provisions intended to clarify the specific nature and circumstances when students (undergraduate and graduate) are permitted to serve as authorized vehicle drivers. These provisions can be found in the Authorized Drivers section of the Policy (bullets a – f).
