David J. Roof, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Educational Studies at Ball State University and serves as the Director of the Center for Economic and Civic Learning (CECL). With over 20 years of teaching experience, David specializes in fostering civic engagement and inclusive dialogue in diverse educational settings. His work includes leading professional development workshops for educators and presenting at national and international conferences on the intersection of education, democracy, and deliberation.
