Workday continues to deliver improvements to the user experience. In an upcoming release, the menu will be updated to improve navigation and provide greater personalization.
What’s Changing?
Workday Home is now located in the navigation sidebar. The categories remain the same, but you will be able to hover over each category to preview the items within it.
Quick Access
You’ll be able to access your Saved Items directly from the sidebar, creating a centralized location for items you access regularly. These include:
- Shortcuts
- Frequently used reports
- Tasks
- External links
- Favorites, content, and files saved throughout Workday
Navigation
You can personalize your sidebar menu to align with how you work best.
To customize your navigation:
- Click the Customize wheel in the sidebar.
- From there, you can:
- Drag and drop items to reorder your menu
- Pin your most-used menu items to the top
- Add new menu items or remove items as needed
- When finished, click Save Changes.
