Registration for the 26th Annual Student Symposium at Ball State University is CLOSING on February 26, 2021!

This is an opportunity for all Ball State students to present their research or creative projects in the form of a dynamic digital exhibit, including written and recorded presentations or short video entries. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Student Symposium will be conducted virtually.

Register now: bsu.edu/studentsymposium. Again, the deadline for registration is Friday, February 26.

For over twenty-five years the Student Symposium at Ball State University has provided students with the opportunity to present their creative and scholarly projects while competing for cash prizes and gaining valuable insight from faculty and staff judges from across the University.

The Symposium encourages interdisciplinary discourse, allowing students to learn from each other about engaging topics. The symposium also provides an opportunity for student participants to discuss their work with a broad audience and is open to any student from Ball State University (undergraduate and graduate), Burris Laboratory School, and the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities.

Sponsored Projects Administration, in collaboration with the Graduate School, is partnering with the University Digital Scholarships and Collections department to utilize the Omeka web-publishing platform. This allows the projects to be archivable and more readily available to a wider audience. The site officially launches on April 13th.
