How the Impact of Social Factors Determine the Economic Equity and Inclusion of College Graduates with Physical Disabilities

Greg Fehribach, Distinguished Fellow in the Office of Inclusive Excellence, and Larry Markle, Director of the Gregory S. Fehribach Center, will lead a discussion on the social and economic determinants that limit college graduates with physical disabilities from full participation in the American economy.
Fehribach and Markle will identify four models of disability, describe the laws that were designed to provide access and opportunity and discuss the barriers that keep people with disabilities from attaining economic independence. They will close by highlighting the work of the Gregory S. Fehribach Center in promoting full civic and economic inclusion for college graduates with physical disabilities.
