Dear Colleagues,
Anyone in the Ball State community can make an appointment at the writing center for any type of writing project. Writers from all degree programs, classes, and majors regularly use the center for their coursework, graduate projects, professional, civic, and personal writing. Sessions are available with Ball State tutors (undergraduate and graduate students) seven days a week.
Writers can opt for
? a feedback session (writer and tutor discuss a draft),
? a planning session (writer and tutor plot out a new writing project),
? or an accountability session (writer uses session to draft and tutor answers questions/keeps writer on task).
Writers can make appointments on our website and can choose to connect with their tutor via chat, audio, or video at the appointed time.
You can let your students know about the Writing Center Spring 2021 services by adding our module from Canvas Commons. The module includes our new chat box for quick writing questions.

All writers improve with practice and feedback, so as a student in this course, you are encouraged to use the Writing Center at Ball State to get additional feedback on your writing. To schedule a free appointment to discuss your writing, go to: www.bsu.edu/writingcenter. Appointments are available seven days a week; however, plan ahead because appointments book quickly. For health and safety: all writing center appointments will be online for Spring 2021.
