Dr. Linh Nguyen Littleford has been selected to serve as Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs and Professional Development beginning July 1, 2025. In addition to serving in this role as interim since July 2024, she has been a faculty member at BSU since 2002, where she was also a previous Director of Graduate Programs and Interim Department Chair in the Department of Psychological Science. In her interim capacity, she successfully continued the Textbook Affordability at Ball State program, Faculty Mentors Network, Lunch & Learn, Writing Challenges, New Faculty Orientation, New Administrators Orientation, Department Chairs Network Sessions, and Faculty Development Passport Program. She also launched new initiatives to foster faculty success and provide resources to help faculty meet compliance requirements, including:
- Two faculty-led professional development series focusing on cultural and intellectual diversity and on mid- and senior-career faculty;
- A webinar series (Facul-TEA 15-minute learning) to engage more online, adjunct/part-time, and international faculty in professional development;
- Faculty Writing Accountability Groups providing long-term writing support for faculty.
Dr. Littleford will report to Dr. Kecia McBride, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, and will oversee student academic integrity, grade appeals, faculty professional development, Immersive Learning and High Impact Practices, Research and Academic Effectiveness, and support for University Governance.
