  • develop their search advocate awareness
  • serve as a bridge between their areas and the employee affinity groups
  • engage in community and learning with other DEIJB advocates

This training will be done in a synchronous model. Training will be conducted in person, with some being offered via Zoom. Faculty and staff can sign up for the training via Human Resources Learning and Development sessions. These trainings will be offered at regular intervals throughout the academic year, and there is no order requirement. Training attended within one academic year can be applied. Training sessions that were participated in during the 2021-22 academic year can be counted towards the 2022-23 cohort. Space in the training is limited, so make sure that you register today!

Inclusive Excellence Champion certification will remain active for 3 years. To remain active, Champions will need to attend at least one inclusive excellence-centered professional development training, annually. Additionally, at the end of the three years Champions wishing to maintain their status will be eligible to take a refresher course.
Thank you in advance for joining in our efforts to create an inclusive community here at Ball State University.
