Have you taught a “core four” high impact course and would like time and thinking partners to reflect on how it went and how it could improve? If so, we invite you to a paid workshop where we will:
- discuss how things went in your HIPs course
- reflect on what could be improved or tweaked
- refresh your understanding of HIPs criteria and teaching strategies
- make a plan for (small or large) changes to your course
- brainstorm SOTL (Scholarship of Teaching and Learning) research you might do based on HIPs teaching.
Faculty who complete the entire workshop will receive $100 in RIA funds. The workshop is scheduled for Friday, October 23rd, 1-3 pm, in the Student Center (in person only). Light snacks will be served! Please register for a spot on Infoready by October 9th.
This workshop is open to full-time Ball State faculty who have taught a designated undergraduate high impact course at Ball State. If you are currently teaching your first high impact course this fall, you will be eligible to take this workshop in the spring.
