Breath in, Breath out

May 14, 2020

It’s a fact that deep breathing can help reduce stress!

Try this Exercise:

  1. Put one hand on your heart, the other on your stomach.
  2. Take a deep breath.
  3. Does your chest or your stomach rise? If you're like most people, you said chest. But the most beneficial place for deep breathing is through your diaphragm.
  4. Breathe 5 seconds in, watching your stomach rise and then 5 seconds out squeezing the last breath out like the end of a tube of toothpaste.
