Our section of Writing For Change, an immersive learning section ENG 103 and 104, has partnered with the Muncie Mission. They serve the Muncie community in a variety of ways, including sheltering the homeless, feeding the hungry, and counseling the addicted. Their largest fundraising event of the year, Walk A Mile in My Shoes, is quickly approaching. In a time of need for so many community members, please consider donating and making a difference in their lives. Donations are accepted at this link. This year's event will take place on Saturday, February 21st at 9am (registration begins at 8am) beginning at the Muncie Fieldhouse and ending at the Muncie Mission. Participants receive a free t-shirt, Starbucks coffee, Concannon's donuts, and Chick-fil-a. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
