Summer parking regulations will go into effect beginning Monday, May 5, 2025. Please note that all parking rules and regulations remain in force throughout the summer semester.
- Paid parking lots and first-floor garage pay stations will continue to be enforced as usual.
- Standalone parking meters are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Permits are required in all zoned areas on campus; however, enforcement in these areas ends at 4:00 p.m.
- No parking is permitted in any green commuter lot or parking garage between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., regardless of the day.
Summer Parking Locations for Valid Permit Holders
Beginning Monday, May 5, 2025, the following access applies to valid permit holders:
- General Permits - yellow faculty/staff lots, green commuter lots, blue residence hall lots, and the stadium/overflow lots
- Commuter Permits - green commuter lots, blue residence hall lots, and the stadium/overflow lots
- Stadium Permits - green commuter lots, blue residence hall lots, and the stadium/overflow lots
- Restricted Permits - the assigned red restricted lot, green commuter lots, blue residence hall lots, and the stadium/overflow lots

If you have an expired restricted or residence hall permit, you may exchange it at no charge for a general, commuter, or stadium permit (whichever you qualify for). To request a permit exchange, please email parking@bsu.edu.
