Dear Student,
You are invited to participate in a study that examines potential experiences of college students with disabilities. In order to participate, you must:
1. Be at least 18 years old
2. Be enrolled in a college/university
3. Must identify yourself as having a disability or impairment
If you meet the above criteria and choose to participate in this study, you will be asked to complete an online survey that may take about 15-20 minutes to complete. The survey will ask you questions about discrimination, internalized stigma, social support, resilience, and self-esteem. Please remember that your responses will be kept anonymous; you will not be asked for your name or any other identifying information that would be connected to your responses.
However, you will be given an equal opportunity to receive one of ten electronic gift cards (each of $20 value) to a place/company of your choosing. In order to participate in this opportunity, you will be redirected to another webpage where you will be asked to provide your first name, last name, and an email address. With this, the responses to your survey will NOT be connected to your name or email address, so your responses will still be anonymous. (Further directions regarding the electronic gift card will be provided if you choose to enter your name and an email address.)
