Students and Political Media

We are currently conducting a study on how students engage with political media and how you perceive messages in political media. 

Participation involves a 15–20-minute survey asking about your perceptions, consumption habits, and attitudes toward political media. There is also an optional follow-up 30-minute interview you can volunteer for at the end of the survey. Any student who participates in the follow-up interview will have an equal opportunity to receive a $30 electronic gift card.

In order to participate in this study, you must be:

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be a college student (Undergraduate or Graduate)
Must be able to operate a Qualtrics survey
This study is approved by the BSU IRB 1907878-1 [Exploring the Effects of Political Media on Pre-Service Teachers: A Mixed-Methods Approach).
