What is a step challenge?

Participants (BSU Affiliates 18 and up) can run, jog, or walk on any road, trail, track, or treadmill while tracking individual steps.

How does it work?

    1. Build your team of 3 and have the captain register your team.
    2. Each participant will complete an individual waiver prior to participating.
    3. Captain submits weekly submissions while everyone tracks their individual steps with any watch, smartphone, app, or pedometer.

How to submit your results?

Once you have completed your steps for that week (I.e. June 8 – 14, etc.) send a screenshot of your total steps that week to your team captain. Each team captain will submit their teams’ results and proof of completion here!

What is the deadline to submit your results?

Submit your results the Monday following the week your team stepped. Multiple entries are permitted. For the final week, it will be Monday, August 10th – Sunday, August 16th. Therefore, the final deadline will be Monday, August 17th by 11pm.

How do you win?

Throughout the event we'll be sharing updates on those who have submitted their steps. The team with the most steps per week and overall winners will receive Recreation promotional items. Prizes will be available once campus reopens. Campus pick up only.
