The Center for Economic and Civic Learning (CECL) at Ball State is launching CECL News & Connections, a new monthly newsletter highlighting civic learning, campus events, faculty and student opportunities, research, and partnerships across Indiana and beyond.

Our October issue includes news about Ball State's new $2.7 million FORGE initiative, highlights from CREATE250's summer programs, recent visits by civil rights leader Minnijean Brown-Trickey and civic scholar Harry Boyte, and upcoming opportunities for faculty and students.

Future issues will feature:
  • Upcoming lectures, events, and campus programs
  • Faculty development, research, and collaboration opportunities
  • Student civic engagement and leadership initiatives
  • News from CECL's statewide projects and partnerships
  • Teaching resources and opportunities to get involved

We invite Ball State faculty, staff, and students to subscribe and stay connected with CECL's work.
