Spring semester and Winter Break study abroad -- Applications now open!

June 17, 2024

It's a great time to be thinking about studying abroad! Applications are now open for all Spring Semester and Winter Break study abroad programs (deadline September 15th for most programs)

Spring Semester: See the full list of Spring programs HERE

Featured Spring Semester program: BSU-in-Alcala, our signature study abroad program. BSU students, BSU faculty, BSU classes, for a full BSU semester abroad. The Spring '25 location is Alcala de Henares, Spain, which is right outside Madrid. The coursework features five different courses in the UCC (core), making this program a potential great match for students from a wide variety of majors. The most exciting feature of this program is that it is NOT high cost!-- the program cost is comparable to an on-campus semester in Muncie.

Winter Break: See the full list of Winter Break programs HERE

Featured Winter Break program: KIIS Greece This program is from December 27th to January 7th and includes both Athens and Crete. It's directed by two BSU faculty members, making it our most popular quick-program. It's a great option for students who want to study abroad but might not have the flexibility to be gone for a whole semester. Take advantage of the early bird discount (before Aug 1) to save $100!

What next? If you'd like more information about your study abroad options, we recommend signing up for 'Study Abroad 101' (next session in August), which is a presentation that overviews studying abroad-- the process, choosing a program, timelines, costs, etc. You can also make an appointment to meet with a Study Abroad Advisor, who can spend time one-on-one with you, discussing the programs that interest you. You may also want to download the Student Guide to Study Abroad or visit our website. And if you're thinking about summer, fall, or academic year programs-- please mark your calendar for our annual Study Abroad Fair on Monday, November 18th (details TBA). Please feel free to contact us at studyabroad@bsu.edu with any questions.
