In this Immersive Learning Visual Sociology course students will do a community project called "Humanizing Addition". Students will work with the Recovery Café to reduce stigma, and tell the stories of people in recovery or entering the recovery process. Students will do photo ethnographies, specifically photo elicitations and learn visual research methods while creating a project to humanize addiction in the Muncie community.
