While the Office of Research Integrity has joined the Cayuse platform, Sponsored Projects Administration wants to reassure the campus community that our existing use of CayuseSP will remain the same. Here are answers to some frequently asked questions we’ve received.
Is this the same Cayuse software?
While it is the same software suite and company, the Human Ethics module will be launched on a separate administrative platform from the existing CayuseSP software. You can still access Cayuse through the SPA website, the MyBallState portal, and/or the direct link of bsu.cayuse424.com.
What changes are happening to the CayuseSP software used for sponsored projects activity?
None! CayuseSP will continue to function as it always has for proposal routing and approvals, document management, and records maintenance.
I know about CayuseSP but I’d like to know more. Where can I find information?
The SPA website has handy training guides, a form for access requests for new employees, and a video walkthrough of the CayuseSP software.
I want to know more about the IRB/Human Ethics Cayuse software. Where can I find information?
The Office of Research Integrity will be posting materials on their website as they become available.
