Are you ready to dig into a good book now that the semester is over? The Division of Online and Strategic Learning is hosting two book clubs this summer.
In June, participants will read The Norton Guide to Equity-Minded Teaching and gather virtually on Zoom at 11am on Wednesday, June 21 and Wednesday, June 28. One of the co-authors of this selection is Mays Imad who served as keynote for this year’s Provost's Faculty Summit. The Ebook is available for NO CHARGE to educators. If you prefer a physical copy, it is offered as a 25% discount and free shipping. Both of these opportunities are available through Norton’s website HERE.
July’s participants will dive into Mind over Monsters: Supporting Youth Mental Health with Compassionate Challenge and meet on Zoom at 1pm on Tuesday, July 18 and Tuesday, July 25.
This is a BYOB (Bring Your Own BOOK) event, but we will place two copies of the books on reserve in Bracken Library.
Sign up HERE for either, or both, Summer Book Clubs.
