Share Your Innovations at the Teaching and Technology Summit

January 06, 2022

As you develop your Spring courses, we invite you to apply to present at the inaugural Teaching and Technology Summit, a virtual event for Ball State faculty, graduate students, and employees. On Friday, April 15, we’ll gather virtually to discuss teaching innovations in the online learning environment.

Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Creative uses of Canvas, including tools like Announcements, Discussion Boards, Grades, Pages, Speedgrader, and Quizzes
  • Using instructional technologies to bolster student engagement
  • New ideas about co-teaching, badging, and gamification
  • Inclusive teaching and accessibility
  • Innovative uses of the Ball State Quality Matters+ Rubric or the Ball State Canvas Template

We invite you to submit ideas for any type of presentation, from short informal demos to formal presentations to full panel discussions.

If you’re interested in presenting or attending, you can register and learn more on our website. You can also email us to indicate your interest at strategiclrn@bsu.edu.

We wish you the best with your course planning and the new semester!
