Service Opportunity: Student Symposium Judges Needed

February 09, 2026

The Office of Research is organizing the 31st annual Student Symposium—but we need your help!

On April 14th, students across the University will be presenting their work at the Student Symposium. In addition to sharing their work with a broad audience, they are competing for one of seven $250 awards. We need a large number of judges across disciplines to help us evaluate these research and creative endeavor presentations. Volunteer here!

In order to be a judge for this event, you will need to have availability to evaluate 5-10 student exhibits on April 14th from 2-3pm in Worthen Arena. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to receive exhibit assignments.

In an effort to recognize your service to the University, you will receive a Letter of Service from the Vice Provost for Research for your crucial participation in this event.
