Ball State welcomes Minnijean Brown-Trickey, a member of the Little Rock Nine, for a conversation about education, courage, and democratic life.

In 1957, Brown-Trickey was among nine Black students who desegregated Little Rock Central High School. Join us to hear from someone whose experiences helped shape American history and whose work continues to engage new generations.

President Geoffrey S. Mearns will introduce Minnijean Brown-Trickey. The evening will include a student-moderated conversation and opportunities for audience questions.

Students, faculty, staff, educators, and community members are welcome. Registration is encouraged; seating is first-come, first-served.
