Self Care for Your Mind: Self-Compassion and Burnout

Join Engagement, Wellbeing and Culture (Working Well) in collaboration with the Ball State Counseling Practicum Clinic in the Department of Counseling Psychology, Social Psychology, and Counseling on Thursdays to learn about the power of gratitude, optimism, navigating self-doubt and more!!

Sessions will be held via Zoom at 12:00 PM and last 45 minutes: Register Here

  • November 7th - Effects of Stress on Body and How to Manage Stress
    • Understand the influences of stress on the body and explore stress-management techniques.
  • November 14th - Self-Compassion and Burnout
    • Learn about what burnout is and it's impacts on wellness. Understand self-compassion and how it can help alleviate burnout effects.
  • November 21st - Practicing Gratitude
    • Discuss the importance of practicing gratitude and strategies for practicing it.
  • December 5th - Goal Setting
    • Identify both unhelpful and helpful goal setting behaviors.
