The Entrepreneurship Center is pleased to offer pre-seed funding opportunities to all students at Ball State University. These grants are designed to assist students who are in the early-stages of venture creation and enable venture development.

To be eligible for the grants, a maximum of $2,500 per student, per semester, applicants must be registered Ball State University students. Pre-seed funding can be used to advance venture development and reach milestones including, but not limited to securing intellectual property, prototype development, product validation, or competing in external venture competitions to raise awareness or additional funds for their venture.

Our next deadline is February 10th.

Students interested in applying for the pitch competition should complete the application and submit a 2-3 minute video pitch about their venture idea. The Top 5 applicants/teams will pitch for the final funding at the end of February. Funding cannot be for expenses already incurred and pre-authorization is required.

ALL students pursuing entrepreneurial ventures are encouraged to apply. Further details can be found at http://www.bsu.edu/entrepreneurship/seedfund. Questions can be directed to entrepreneur@bsu.edu.
