The School of Art presents an artist talk with Walt Disney Animator John Pomeroy, Thursday, October 1 in AC 114 or live streamed at
bsu.edu/live at 5pm. Mr. Pomeroy is an American animator, producer, writer, storyboard artist, character designer, and painter who has worked for Walt Disney Studios and Don Bluth Studios.
He has worked on animated films such as: Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too, The Rescuers, Pete’s Dragon, The Fox and the Hound, The Secret of NIMH, Dragon’s Lair, An American Tail, The Land Before Time, Pocahontas, Fantasia 2000, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Curious George, and Klaus. He has been a supervising animator for over a dozen feature film characters. His most recent works have been centered on book illustration.
