Safe Space in Small Places
A Virginia B. Ball Center for Creative Inquiry and Honors College Spring 2024 Seminar.
ALL undergraduate students interested are encouraged to apply!
Lead by Dr. Ashley Donnelly, students will create a documentary about the LGBTQA+ community in Muncie. You will be working with community members to provide "queer/inclusive" spaces for tweens, teenagers, and underage young adults. Students will be lead in a comprehensive study about the style, history, importance of documentary film, influences of filmmakers from other genres, styles of filmmaking, importance of aesthetics, and the cultural and socio-political nature of their work.
