RSVP by April 1 to Participate in the Cardinal SUCCESS book discussion and receive a copy of "Relationship-Rich Education" by Peter Felten and Leo M. Lambert

March 26, 2024

You are invited to participate in in the inaugural book review/discussion for Cardinal S.U.C.C.E.S.S. (Sustained University-wide Campus Conversations on Equity and Student Success). We will be reading and discussing Relationship-Rich Education: How Human Connections Drive Success in College by Peter Felten and Leo M. Lambert.

What single factor makes for an excellent college education? As it turns out, it’s pretty simple: human relationships. Relationship- Rich Education provides readers with practical advice on how they can develop and sustain powerful relationship-based learning in their own contexts. The book is an invitation -- and a challenge -- for faculty, administrators, and student life staff to move relationships from the periphery to the center of undergraduate education.

You can learn more about the publication at: Relationship-Rich Education | Hopkins Press (jhu.edu).

This book discussion will provide a path for the campus community to have continuous conversations about equity and student success. This professional development opportunity is available to 50 participants; please RSVP to receive the book and receive further details to abird@bsu.edu by April 1.
