Hello students,
My name is Alex Sanchez, and I am a master’s student in the Department of Psychological Science at Ball State University. I am writing to let you know about an opportunity to participate in a study titled, Urban Nature: A Green Space Study.
The purpose of this study is to explore how university students’ thoughts and accessibility to natural areas relate to their moods and you are invited to participate in the study.
To be involved in the study, you must be (1) at least 18 years old, (2) currently enrolled as a Ball State University student, and (3) have access to natural areas/green spaces on or near campus.
If you agree to participate, you will be asked to complete an online Qualtrics survey which should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. The survey involves responding to a variety of questions regarding your use (or disuse) of natural areas on/near campus, your thoughts, and moods, as well as some demographic questions. If you are enrolled in PSYS 100 and completing this study through the Ball State Psychological Science SONA System, you will be compensated with 0.5 credit hours for your participation.
