Research Participants Needed: Study on Health Benefits of Psychedelics

Researchers in the Ball State University Department of Anthropology and Sociology are conducting a survey examining self-reported improvements to physical, mental, and spiritual health following psychedelic experiences. While some research centers are conducting supervised clinical trials, our study focuses on understanding the experiences of individuals who have used psychedelics outside of controlled clinical settings.

Eligibility: We are seeking participants who have experienced improvements in physical, mental, or spiritual well-being following a psychedelic experience. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.

Participation Details:

  • Anonymous online survey (approximately 15 minutes)
  • Optional confidential in-person or Zoom interview (20-30 minutes)
  • No compensation provided
  • Confidentiality: All participant information will be kept confidential in accordance with Ball State University IRB protocols.
