I am writing to let you know about an opportunity to participate in a study, Responses to Emotional Faces for Persons Who have Experienced Adverse Life Experiences Study. I am conducting a research study examining neurological responses to an emotional facial expressions and whether a brief visual task influences those responses. If you chose to agree, you will complete a brief online screening survey (about 15-20 minutes). If you are a BSU student, you may complete the online survey portion for 0.5 hours of research credit and if you qualify for the EEG study portion will receive an addition 1.5 hours research credit, equally up to 2 hours research credit hours in total via SONA. Those that complete the online survey portion, but do not qualify for the EEG portion may still receive 0.5 hours of research credit via SONA.
