Research Participants Needed for Study on Health Benefits of Psychedelics

October 25, 2023

Have you had an experience with a psychedelic compound that has improved your sense of well-being? If so, please take this anonymous Ball State University survey.

We are researchers in the Ball State University Department of Anthropology conducting a survey about self-reported positive changes to physical, mental, and spiritual health that occur through psychedelic experiences. While some research centers are conducting supervised clinical trials, we are interested in hearing stories of individuals who have used psychedelics outside of these studies.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. There is no compensation for research participation.

We anticipate that it will take you approximately 15 minutes to complete the survey, plus an optional in-person interview. The interview is confidential and is estimated to take 20-30 minutes. It will occur in a public location or on Zoom. If you are interested in participating or would like to know more about the study, please contact: Robert Phillips, Ph.D. rfphillips@bsu.edu
