Invite to participate in project "OPINION LEADERSHIP, DATA QUALITY, CUSTOMER DECISION-MAKING" (IRB: 2005863-1)

Study purpose & Rationale: With the rise of E-commerce, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses need to pay particular attention to the role of opinion leaders in attracting new customers and turning them into loyal customers. This study empirically investigates the role of opinion leaders and the quality of their information in customer decisions.

Participants' rights: Participants must be 18 years of age or older. All responses will be kept confidential, and no identifying information will be collected. This survey is completely voluntary and it includes 30 questions.

Procedure: Before taking the survey, please watch at least 2 videos from Scotty Kilmer who is a Mechanic and YouTuber with over 5 million subscribers at https://www.youtube.com/@scottykilmer. He reviews cars and provides advice on purchasing various cars.
