Please consider helping with a student’s undergraduate honors thesis by participating in a survey on the social factors that influence empathy toward sexual violence victims.
If you agree to participate in the study, you will fill out an anonymous Qualtrics survey. Once you have clicked the link or scanned the QR code, you will be sent to a consent form to participate in the study. If you choose to complete the survey, you will be asked a series of questions regarding how you typically respond to others’ emotions and your personal beliefs about how the world works. You will also be asked to read a short, fictional story depicting an instance of sexual violence, then you will be asked about your perceptions of the situation and the characters in the story. Your participation will take approximately 20 minutes.
Participation in this study is completely anonymous and voluntary. Participants may skip questions they feel uncomfortable answering and may quit the survey at any time.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate in this study.
If you are interested in participating, please click the following link to the survey: https://bsu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3JECCwHqa2dyRw2
