Registration Open for Safe Zone Trainings - Spring 2021

December 15, 2020
Become an ally/advocate for the LGBTQIA+ population and beyond by attending the Safe Zone and Trans* Safe Zone Trainings! Attendees of our Safe Zone training will learn how to be a better ally and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community by gaining foundational vocabulary, a brief history of significant events throughout the history of the LGBTQIA+ community, and an exploration of sexual and gender identities across the world. For those who want to expand their ally skills further, our Trans* Safe Zone training focuses on developing knowledge and skills needed to be an effective ally and advocate for members of the trans* community.

Each interactive training is four hours long and will be completely virtual. Trainings are open to Ball State students, faculty, staff, and if space allows, to interested members of the wider community.
