Join us for the first-ever Canvas Design Jam! During this fun, interactive event, you and your peers will create fun and innovative Canvas content in 90 minutes or less.

Hybrid: Ball Brothers Hospitality Suite Emens Auditorium + Zoom
Canvas Design Jam will include activities and support to help you create innovative content in Canvas, Ball State’s learning management system. You can create anything you want during the Canvas Design Jam, from an assignment prompt to a syllabus scavenger hunt.
Canvas designs will be evaluated by 4 judges from around the University. Creators of the top 3 designs will be awarded the Canvas Innovator Award and a $200 RIA contribution.
Everyone is welcome to attend in costume or without a costume, whatever you prefer!
Canvas Design Jam will be held in a hybrid format, and you are welcome to attend either in-person or virtually. You do not need to commit when you register for the event. The in-person event will be held in Emens Auditorium, Ball Brothers Hospitality Suite (second floor). The virtual event will be held at the same time via Zoom.
If you cannot attend either in-person or virtually, you may still submit a Canvas design for consideration for one of 3 Canvas Innovator Awards. If you are interested, please register for the event to receive news and updates about the submission process.
