Recruiting Health Professions Students for Research Project

April 09, 2021
Hello fellow Ball State Undergrad Health Professions Students!
My name is Amanda Bultemeier and I am an undergraduate student completing an Honors College fellowship in the Department of Nutrition and Health Science. My project is titled “Assessing the Nutrition Literacy of Undergraduate Health Professions Students” (IRBNet # 1713588-1).

As someone who grew up eating frozen foods daily, I never really understood the importance of nutrition until I was taught to do so by my grandmother, who worked as the dietary coordinator for her county’s hospital. Now I know most people do not have dietary coordinators as relatives, which is why my project focuses on assessing nutrition literacy of students.
Everyone has a different background, so your perspective is important to me as not just a researcher, but as a peer.
I am writing to request your participation in a brief survey about nutrition literacy.
This survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete, and your responses will remain anonymous.

After completing the survey, you will have an equal opportunity to receive one of four $5 Tango gift cards.PLEASE CLICK BELOW TO COMPLETE THIS QUICK SURVEY: https://bsu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3JDgjByAzF6htBj

Thank you so much for taking the time to consider participating in my research. Any questions can be directed to me, Amanda Bultemeier (ajbultemeier@bsu.edu) or my faculty advisor, Dr. Natalie Kruzliakova (nakruzliakov@bsu.edu).

Regardless, I hope you have a wonderful rest of your semester!

Sincerely,
Amanda Bultemeier
