The Big Questions, Big Ideas series welcomes Dr. Jennifer Erickson, Associate Professor/Assistant Chair of Ball State University's Department of Anthropology. We will discuss why refugee resettlement/immigration is beneficial for small cities. Dr Erickson cites how research with refugees and New Americans in the Dakotas can be applied to new initiatives in Muncie for refugees and new immigrants such as the Muncie Afghan Refugee Resettlement Committee.
