Key Findings:

  • Participants reported a 65% increase in understanding global citizenship.
  • Strong leadership knowledge rose from 14% pre-program to 41% post-program.
  • Support for educational equity jumped from 72.73% to 94.12%, with a notable 11% rise in support for gender equity.
  • Knowledge of U.S. culture and systems increased significantly, from 40.91% to 64.71%.

Policy Recommendations:

  • Increased funding to expand access, particularly for underserved communities.
  • Develop mentorship programs to sustain alumni engagement.
  • Conduct long-term impact studies on participants’ careers and civic contributions.
  • Partner with universities and organizations to diversify cultural exchange opportunities.

This initiative highlights the potential of exchange programs in fostering democratic values and global cooperation. By enhancing investment in these transformative experiences, we can cultivate a new generation of informed, engaged leaders worldwide.
