Join our first-year interior design students as they explore the creative visions of ten influential designers and discover how their approaches to interior spaces, furniture, materials, light, and human experience continue to inspire design today.
Students from both sections of IDES 100: Introduction to Interior Design, taught by Sharmin Kader, Ph.D., will present the first five designers on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, with Section 1 presenting from 12:30–1:45 p.m. and Section 2 from 2:00–3:15 p.m. The remaining five designers will be presented on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 12:30–3:15 p.m. by students from both sections. The event will take place in the Student Center, Yuhas Room (102).
All Ball State faculty and students are welcome! Join us for part or all of either day to encourage our first-year students. Hot beverages will be provided.
