The Ball State University Police Department will host Active Attack Integrated Response training on Thursday, July 9, at DeHority Complex, 1550 W. Riverside Ave.
The training will take place in three sessions: 8 a.m.-noon, 1-5 p.m., and 5-9 p.m. Police, fire, and EMS agencies from throughout the county are expected to participate.
Training activities will be conducted inside DeHority Complex. Community members may notice emergency vehicles parked in the area, officers and first responders moving around the building, and sounds associated with realistic training exercises.
Entrances to the building will be marked with notices, and electronic signs will be placed outside the building along R4/R8 and in the surrounding area to alert pedestrians and drivers.
