Phil/Rels Conversations presents, "Network Resonance: How Public Protestantism Shapes our Experience of Digital Communication"

March 22, 2022

The next Phil/Rels Conversations event will take place Wednesday, March 23 at 5 PM on Zoom. Here is the link for this event.

In this conversation, Dr. Jenna Supp-Montgomerie will discuss her research into the religious rhetoric surrounding the 1858 trans-Atlantic telegraph cable and how utopian hopes and protestant tropes continue to shape how we think about technology, networks, and communication today.

Attendees are encouraged to read the 8-page epilogue to her book before the talk. Please contact Dr. Matthew Hotham at mrhotham@bsu.edu to get a link to the document.

Phil/Rels Conversations is sponsored the Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies at Ball State.
