Hi everyone,
My name is Serena Shim and I am conducting a study with my graduate student, Linda Sultana. Would you like to participate in a short online study called “Motivation, Learning, and Emotion in the Digital Era (BSU IRB # FY2026-22)” This study was approved by BSU IRB.
We’re interested in how college students stay motivated, learn effectively, and use AI tools like ChatGPT in their studies.
The survey takes about 20 minutes and includes questions about your motivation, learning strategies, and how you use AI for schoolwork.
As a thank-you for your time, 50 participants will be randomly selected to receive a $20 Tango e-gift card.
To participate you must
• Be 18–24 years old
• Be an undergraduate student at Ball State University
• Use AI tools (such as ChatGPT) for academic purposes
Your responses are completely anonymous. You will provide email address for gift card drawing. However, your email will never be linked to your survey responses. Your email will be deleted as soon as we selected 50 participants at the conclusion of the study.
