Participants Needed: Understanding Affective Empathy in College Students (IRB-FY2026-193)

Study Purpose and Rationale: The purpose of this study is to examine the factorial structure of an affective empathy scale administered to college students. This study has been reviewed and approved by the Ball State IRB University (IRB-FY2026-193).

Eligibility: To be eligible to participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years of age and less than 60-years old, and also an undergraduate student.

If eligible to participate, you will need to complete a Qualtrics survey that will take around one hour. You will have an equal opportunity to receive one of ten $25 Amazon gift cards (through Tango) drawn at random by completing the study.
