Participants Needed for Online Cross-Cultural Research!

May 26, 2022

Hello,

You are invited to participate in a study that is being conducted as part of the Psi Chi NICE: CROWD project that examines the influences of culture and subjective well-being on social support and help-seeking behaviors. In order to participate, you must:

1.         Be a resident of the United States

2.         Be at least 18 years old

3.         Read fluent English

If you meet the above criteria and choose to participate in this study, you will be directed to an online survey that may take about 30-60 minutes to complete. The survey will inquire about your cultural values, your subjective well-being, and your social support behaviors. Please remember that your responses will be kept anonymous; you will not be asked for your name or any other identifying information that would be connected to your responses.

For BSU students enrolled in CPSY courses, you may receive up to 1.0 research credit on the SONA system. For all other participants, there will be no compensation.

Some of these questions may be uncomfortable to answer. You are permitted to skip any questions that you would prefer not to answer, and you may discontinue the study at any time. Please understand that your participation is voluntary. Your refusal to participate will involve no penalty or loss of benefits to which you are otherwise entitled.  You may discontinue your participation at any time without penalty or loss of benefits.
