Study Title: Accessibility and Social Media Campaigns
Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria:
To be eligible for this study, you must be at least 18 years of age and experience blindness or visual impairments.
If you do not have any visual impairments, you are ineligible to take part in this study.
Participation Procedures and Duration:
This study is two-fold. The first part is an observation session, and the second part is a co-creation session. Both sessions will take place in the Arts and Journalism Building Room 390 and take approximately 30 - 60 minutes.
For the observation session, please bring with you the mobile device you use most often to experience social media (phone, tablet, laptop). We will provide some guiding questions to observe how you navigate social media platforms and engage with content during this session.
For the co-creation session, we will be working together to brainstorm techniques and features that are most important for making social media content accessible to create a prototype.
